Privacy Protocol
At buzzgym pleo, your data is treated with the same rigor as our equipment specs. We don't sell member lists, we don't track you across the web, and we don't hide data usage in fine print. This is the blueprint of what we collect, why we collect it, and how you control it.

Information Collection
To operate a 24/7 facility with app-based access and personalized training, we process specific data points. This is not surveillance; it is operational necessity.

Identity & Access
Name, email, phone, and biometric/fob ID for turnstile entry logs. We retain entry timestamps to monitor facility capacity during peak hours (6-8am, 5-8pm).

Training Metrics
Session history, class bookings, and performance data (if using Gym80 integration) stored locally on your device, synced only when you request a report.

Financial Processing
Tokenized payment references via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
Third-Party Sharing
We are a fitness facility, not a data broker. However, to provide certain services, we utilize strictly vetted processors:
- Stripe (Payment Processing)
- Twilio (SMS Alerts for waitlist/entry)
- Freshdesk (Member Support Tickets)
All processors are GDPR compliant and contractually prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.
Marketing & Comms
By default, you are opted into operational emails (booking confirmations, billing receipts). You are opted out of promotional newsletters (DJ nights, new gear drops) unless you explicitly check the box during signup. You can toggle these in the buzzgym pleo app settings under "Notifications."
Your Control Room
Just as we don't lock you into a contract, we don't lock your data.
Right to Access
Request a full copy of your training logs and entry history via the app.
Right to Erasure
Cancel membership and request deletion. Processing time: 72 hours.
Right to Portability
Export your data in a machine-readable format (JSON/CSV).
Right to Object
Opt out of non-essential tracking (cookies) via the banner settings.
Or visit the front desk with ID to request a printed report.
Policy Updates
We review this policy quarterly. Any changes (e.g., new integrations for our Track & Field studio tech) will be posted here and reflected in the app. Last updated: 2025-08-01.
