The Lift Zone: Where PRs Are Forged
The acoustic shift is immediate. As you step off the main cardio deck and cross the rubber threshold into the Lift Zone, the ambient noise of treadmills fades, replaced by the heavy thud of iron and the sharp exhale of exertion. This isn't just flooring; it's impact-absorbing matting designed to deaden the sound of dropped weights, creating a distinct auditory focus for the work at hand.
At the center of the "Iron Alley"—a corridor of eight squat racks—you are surrounded by dedicated Olympic platforms equipped with integrated jerk blocks. The equipment is curated: stiff bars for deadlifts, whippy bars for cleans, and power bars for squats, all calibrated and maintained. Lighting is high-contrast, bright directly over the platforms and dimmer in the walkways to reduce visual noise.
The Chalk Ritual
The communal chalk bowl is always stocked. It's a ritual here—use it freely to secure your grip, but respect the mat. A clean floor is a safe floor. This is a self-policing zone of mutual respect.

Hammer Strength & Gym80: Precision Engineering
We transition from raw power to engineered precision. The Hammer Strength rig dominates the plate-loaded section, featuring angled seats and pivoting pads that align with natural movement paths. This is the "Iso-Lateral" principle—machines that work each side of the body independently, correcting imbalances.
Contrast this with Gym80. German-engineered selectorized machines known for their compact footprint and smooth resistance curve. The visual cue is distinct: Orange accents on Hammer Strength, sleek clinical chrome on Gym80.
"Plate-loaded offers a free-weight feel with machine stability. Selectorized offers quick weight changes for drop sets. The choice depends on your tempo, not just your muscle."
Spec Check
- Hammer Strength Biomechanically aligned
- Gym80 Compact footprint
- Philosophy Isolation vs. Stability
Decision Lens
Which machine type matches your training style? Use this to guide your selection.
Scenario
"I'm recovering from a shoulder impingement. I need the stability of a machine but the natural path of a dumbbell."
Hammer Strength (Plate-Loaded)
- + Feels like free weights; heavy stabilization.
- + No weight pin hunting (just plates).
- - Slower to adjust for drop sets.
- - Loud if dropped.
Gym80 (Selectorized)
- + Instant weight changes; ideal for volume.
- + Low joint stress; guided range of motion.
- - Less stabilization required (muscle isolation).
- - Can feel "locked in" for tall users.
Mitigation: We stock both. It's not a choice you have to make before you walk in.

The Track & Field Studio
The 'Rebound' floor is a sprung wooden surface designed for plyometrics. This is the home of 'Sprint & Strength' classes. The acoustics are contained by dampening panels.

The Engine Room
The main floor. Dumbbells 2kg to 50kg. The cardio deck faces away from the weights to separate focus. The 'Work-In' protocol is standard here—if you're resting, share the bench. It's how the floor operates.
Field Guide
- Multi-grip Pull-up
- Rope (Triceps)
- V-Bar (Row)
- 2kg - 50kg
- Hex (Stable)
- Ascending Order
